Ok, for pic number two, I have chosen, my failed attempt to capture a porpoise in mid-air. My mom and stepfather went out fishing in the Gulf of Mexico on Thanksgiving ('08) and a pod of porpi (just go with it) began swimming and playing next to the boat. Well, one leaped out of the water, wiggled its tail at us and then hit the water. I was unprepared for this momentous event, but managed to get a picture of the splash. So, here's the pic of the splash, and a pic of the dorsel fin just to prove that there were indeed unboated mammals in the area, swimming around.
